A belated glimpse of our wonderfully wet and windy visit to the Forest School last Tuesday morning. All ideas of painting wild flowers, building shelters and looking for mini-beasts, went out the window. Instead we embraced the weather and all it threw at us and made the most of the muddy puddles. There were shrieks of delight at the discovery of being able to jump freely in puddles and get as messy and dirty as we liked. Sheer joy! Running wild and free into the wind with our make shift sails in tow. This has been the best lesson in learning about the weather and what makes effective waterproofing that I have ever done. Enjoy the pictures below. They will certainly put a smile on your face.
