Remembrance Week

On Thursday and Friday we spent part of the day considering Remembrance Day and what it means. On Thursday afternoon we explored different memorials around the world and looked at the different features. From this pupils then designed their own memorials. Next week we will then use these designs to create replica models using clay.

As well as this we had great fun creating Shakespearean insults. Please don’t be worried if your child comes home and calls you a ‘Fawning fly-bitten bagbarnacle’. I’m sure they don’t mean it!
