Calling all Stone age tailors!

This week in Year 3 we have begun rehearsing our class collective worship for next Friday. The children have done really well so far and are already beginning to learn their lines without prompts. Therefore the homework for this weekend is to continue to look at the script in order to familiarise themselves ready for the assembly.

I have also asked the children to have a look around at home and see if they can bring in any Stone age dress/props to use in the mini production. If this is possible then we would be very grateful, but please do not feel you have to buy anything especially.

Also this week:

  • We have continued to study ‘The Iron man’ in literacy and the children are really beginning to understand the story in greater depth.
  • In maths we have been looking at written addition, which we first found challenging, but used our growth mindset to persevere.
  • In topic we had our own debate about what we think that Stonehenge might have been used for all those years ago.

Have a great weekend, See you Monday,

Mr C
