Parliament Week in Year 6

Thank you to all those supports who came to watch our collective worship this morning. All the children were fantastic!

On Tuesday afternoon we had some excellent discussions about whether or not the age for voting should be lowered to 16 or kept at 18. Having watched a debated from the Youth Parliament, we then decided the pros and cons for both sides of the argument. In the end Year 6 voted that we should lower the age to 16.

This week we continued our work on war memorials. On Thursday we thought about an improved design and create templates to help us mold our clay and on Friday afternoon we made them. The pictures below help to illustrate the processes that we went through to get our final model.
