This week in Year 3 we have been researching about how fossils are formed, and wrote about the importance of the famous fossil hunter ‘Mary Anning’. We also looked at the huge influence she has had on what we know about the past.
In Literacy, we have been learning how to write instructions, with a focus on ‘How to summon the Goddess of the Emerald lake’ – relating to a chapter in our class book ‘The firework makers daughter’.
We have also spent the week focusing on our times tables in Maths. The children are now becoming more confident with their 3, 4 and 8 times tables which is reflected in their turbo tables results.
Homework this week is to complete a Fitter Futures workout, the children have brought their logins home with them.
Enjoy your weekend,
