It is vitally important that we, as teachers and parents work together to develop the independent learning skills and raise the achievement of each individual child in our care, enabling them to realise their potential within a caring Christian community. Sharing our responsibilities we will work together to ensure that your child will have the best possible opportunity to become a confident, happy and effective life-long learner, who makes the most of every opportunity that St. Andrew’s offers.
We have a Home School Agreement which is completed on entry, whether to Reception or as a casual entrant. It outlines the expectations that are placed upon home, school and child in working together for the maximum benefit of each individual child. We expect all parents to go through the responsibilities outlined with their children, to discuss what these mean in practice and to sign the section of the agreement that applies to them as a commitment, before returning it to school.
