For literacy today I am uploading a video of a rhyming book for you to listen to, I hope you enjoy it!
For maths, I have added the pictures of the numerals and their rhymes. See if you can recognise each numeral, say the rhyme (see below) and use your finger to draw a giant number in the air, then a medium size number on the floor, then a smaller one on the palm of your hand – to help you remember the shape of the number. If you would like a challenge you could have a go at writing the number with a pencil. You could write on post its or labels and put them up somewhere you will see them, such as on the fridge or your bedroom door.
For topic work you could do any of the following activities over the week: research to find out about crickets or to find out what animals come out of an egg, you could have a go at drawing or painting a cricket, you could go on a bug hunt and listen for any sounds of bugs eg buzzing, you could use mini mash to explore the ‘minibeasts’ topic using the ‘minibeast’ pin and explore the paint projects or the garden centre; or anything else of your choice.
Have a fun week!
