I have no intentions of setting anymore work over the Easter holidays, except the Easter project given out on my Friday’s blog. I just wanted to pen a quick message of encouragement and congratulations.
I have really loved hearing about your days and what you have been up to. It has been so reassuring to me that you are all having fun, learning and enjoying your time at home. I know it has been a bizarre and stressful time for us all, but it seems to be becoming reality and one we must all accept for the time being.
For parents, I completely understand the pressure you might feel you are under. I want to reassure you all that you are not. The most important thing is that your children are healthy and happy. It is also important that we all take this time to look after our own mental health. I would like to congratulate you all on what you have achieved this week. Whether your child/ren have ‘worked’ for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 6 hours, you have contributed positively to their education. Learning looks different for each child and, just like in the classroom, you adapt to help each child enjoy their time.
Although this wasn’t how I foresaw the end of the term, I hope you all have a lovely half term filled with special memories for your family.
I will still be uploading Story Times regularly, so keep your eyes open for those.
From my family to yours, Happy Easter!
