I hope you are all well. Here we are at the end of another busy week of home learning. I know that you have all worked so hard up to this point, and under very difficult circumstances.
As a school, we have decided to give you all a rest next week. Though it seems strange, next week would normally be May half term. Therefore, I will not be setting work on the school website. That said, if you would like to carry on with some activities, Purple Mash and Mathletics will still be accessible for you.
As you may have heard, the plan at the moment is for children to slowly return to school over the coming weeks. Year 4’s scheduled return date is the week beginning Monday 22nd June and you will be returning for 2 days a week. A message will reach you very soon telling you what days you have been allocated. If you need any more information about our return to school, please check for the office update and Mrs Gillingham’s letter via parent mail. If any questions are left unanswered, please contact us using the admin email address.
As you will probably know, we will not be returning to school quite as you know it. There will be a few changes to the schedule of a normal day and our class sizes will be a little smaller. However, it will still be the St Andrew’s school that we all know and love, and we are all very much looking forward to seeing you and hearing about all the fun you’ve been having at home.
I hope to see you very soon and have a great day!
Mr Chesterman 🙂
