Good morning Year 6,
I hope you are all well and managed to responsibly enjoy the sun this weekend.
As it is the Easter holiday for the next two weeks, we have decided that we would set some projects for the children to complete. As always, these are just some suggested ideas and do not need to be completed and you can complete any other projects you would like.
Project ideas –
Create a ‘Stop Motion’ film. This could be a re-telling of the Easter story, the favourite part of your book or any other scene you would like. You could use Imovies or Stop Motion Studio apps to help you with this. (Resources attached at bottom of blog).
Make a board game for you and your family to play over the break.
Research some aspect of Victorian life. If this could have a link to Stanstead Abbotts and the local community that would be great.
Learn a new skills. This could be anything from knitting to juggling, origami to baking!
Remember to keep up with your reading. Purple Mash and Mathletics will still be available for you to access although I won’t be setting specific tasks. White Eose also have Maths activities available https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/
I have also attached a picture of some models made by Harry. Keep sending in any pictures of what you have been doing it at home.
