Year 3 Class blog

What a tiring but exciting week it’s been!

Well done to all the children for their exemplary behaviour at the Celtic harmony camp on Thursday, we really did represent St Andrew’s with maturity and passion for knowledge! A special thank you to our accompanying adults for your help and support on a rather wet and windy day! Despite the weather it was clear that all the children enjoyed the day and gained a deeper understanding of the way the Celts would have lived.

Also this week we have been doing some in house assessments which the children have again handled very well. To reward them for this, we have been doing some sewing today in an attempt to create some Christmas stockings for the children to take home with them as a gift. This fits into our D and T syllabus for this term.

There will be no homework for this week as I feel the children have been very busy and should all have a well deserved rest!

See you bright and early Monday, have a great weekend,

Mr Chesterman
