Faith Factory

At St Andrew’s we value the impact of Collective Worship on children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

We offer children many opportunities to participate in daily Collective Worship, such as through speaking and listening, singing and drama and through personal time for thinking, reflection and prayer.

Themes and ideas for collective worship are planned termly with input from the Faith Factory, a group of dedicated children from Years 2 – 6, who have a particular interest in Collective Worship.  These children have distinguished themselves by the depth and thoughtfulness of their contribution to Collective Worship and choose to meet voluntarily at lunchtimes to plan worship experiences supporting our current value, for example, the dramatizing of stories and leading prayer.

The Faith Factory is of huge importance to our Collective Worship, ensuring our time for Collective Worship can be directed at the things which are relevant and important to the children.
