School Uniform

We expect that all our children will wear school uniform. Uniform is important because it gives the children a sense of belonging and raises self-esteem. We work with you to ensure all our children maintain a smart appearance.

The children are positively encouraged and rewarded for taking care of their possessions and for remembering to bring the right items to school on the right day.

  • Long hair must be tied back and only a small red hair accessory is permissible.
  • Hard hair bands should not be worn for PE
  • Hair should be kept neat in conventional styles
  • Gel, braids and beads must not be worn (unless specifically allowed E.g. on a charity fundraising day). Parents may be contacted to collect their child to remove hair gel etc, if necessary.

In the initial 6 week period when earrings cannot be removed, or if your child cannot managed to remove them themselves, children must provide tape / Elastoplast to cover their studs, for safety during PE and games.

If parents / carers have difficultly providing our school uniform, please let us know, we will try to help. Please contact the School Office for further information. Thank you.
