Year Four Update

This term we are learning about the Sikh religion. This week we found out about how Sikhs welcome babies. We acted out the Sikh baby naming ceremony.

The granthi opens the Guru Granth Sahib at a random page. The parents chose a name for the baby which begins with the first letter of the first word on that page.

In our Egyptian topic, we imagined what it would have been like for Howard Carter when he discovered the treasure in the antechamber and we’ve even started learning an Egyptian dance!
