Again a busy, busy week in Year 6. On Monday nine girls took part in the Medium School Netball Tournament. Overall the team came 6th with a record of won 3 games, lost 4 and drawn 1. All the girls enjoyed themselves and played with great enthusiasm. A special mention goes to Chloe who was voted player of the match by the opposite team on numerous occasions.
On Tuesday Year 6 had a visit from the American Football Development Company who delivered a Flag Football taster day. All the children learned how to play like a running back and wide receiver during the session!
Herts and Essex Air Ambulance visited the children on Wednesday and delivered hands-on sessions for CPR and how to use a defibrillator. The whole crew of the air ambulance were really impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of all the children. The was also made more relevant with the recent introduction of the defibrillator in the village phone box.
On Wednesday all the children also took home an Easter revision pack. Have a great holiday and enjoy a rest.
